An informal monthly excursion –
kids especially welcome!
Join our friendly, informal group as we explore the city we live in.
The program is designed to be especially interesting to younger people, but everyone is welcome.
Bring your friends as well!
27 January 2018, 11.00
Centrale Montemartini, a retired electric power plant, is home to a collection of ancient Roman sculptures.
It has sometimes been called “Machines and the Gods.”
The one hour excursion will conclude with an optional lunch together at Altrove,
a nearby restaurant committed to training and employing refugees and at risk youth.
Contact the parish office to sign up and also indicate if you want to be included in the lunch reservation.
Meet at 11:00 in front of a small shrine dedicated to Saints Peter and Paul at Via Ostiense 108,
near the modern bridge to Garbatella and a short walk from Piramide.
