Joel Nafuma Refugee Center

JNRC_world“OFFERING RADICAL HOSPITALITY TO REFUGEES IN THE HEART OF ROME”

The Joel Nafuma Refugee Center began as an outreach ministry of St. Paul’s in 1982. Since then the ministry has expanded, and now caters to the needs of around 250 refugees every day, offering breakfast, toiletries and clothing distributuion, education, therapy and integration programs.

The JNRC is managed by St. Paul’s but has its own mission statement and independent budget; the Rector and Vestry have oversight. For more information on the JNRC and its programs, including how you can get involved, please visit the JNRC’s own website at www.jnrc.it.
