Church School

"Starting children on path of lifelong spiritual journey"

When and Where?

All children ages 4 through 12 are invited to participate in St. Paul's Sunday Morning Church School. The Church School meets in the Parish Hall after the reading of the Gospel. We bring the children back to you right before communion.

What are we studying?

We learn 'Go Tell It On The Mountain'...Each Sunday we offer your child a lively, music-filled opportunity to learn about the Bible, grow in faith and celebrate the gift of faith. We are using the Episcopal Children's Curriculum as a basis for our program. Through biblical storytelling, the study of church traditions and participation in worship, students and teachers affirm their Christian faith and learn together what it means to live out the covenant made in Holy Baptism.

Attendance!

...and teach it to Fr. Michael!

Parents -- your regular attendance at church enables your children to participate in Sunday School on a regular basis, to feel at home in Church School, and to know the teachers and the other children. Late arrivals tend to interfere with our studies and activities. Please try to help your children arrive on time for Sunday School!

Me, A Sunday School Teacher?

Many parents think that special training is needed to be a Sunday School teacher. Not so! We are all volunteers. All you need is interest and we will show you the rest. You don't need to sign on for the whole year. Come any Sunday and read the children a story, or tell us something about your home country.

See for yourself how rewarding it is to work with the future of our church -- our Parish's children!
