St Paul's Luminaria and Organ Series

Organ recitals and sacred music concerts take place every Sunday in the afternoon: Luminaria is a special Series of concerts performed by candlelight.

A number of famous artists have performed for us over the past years. Among them the violinists Nina Beilina (Russia) and Luigi Alberto Bianchi (Italy), the organists Lionel Rogg (Switzerland) Gunther Kaunzinger (Germany) Daniel Roth and Jean Guillou (France) Victor Urban (Mexico) the Georgia State Chamber Orchestra led by Liana Issakadze, the choirs from Norwich, Ely and St. Peter in Exeter cathedrals (England), the U.S.A. Naval Academy men's and women's Glee Club, the Fynske kammerkor from Denmark and many, many others.
We are proud to be among the venues in Rome where the sacred music repertoire is kept alive: Mozart's and Fauré's Requiem, Bach's Magnificat, Haendel's Messiah are always present within our concert series, and we also host performances of less known, but yet wonderful works such as Britten's "St. Nicholas Cantata" or Maurice Duruflé's Requiem or Domenico Scarlatti's Stabat Mater. Please contact us in order to reserve tickets for our concerts or, if you are yourself a musician, to submit us your music proposal.
